On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Jamie Foxx took to Twitter to announce Cameron Diaz's return to film.

"Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT.

"@CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION - our new movie with @NetflixFilm. Production starting later this year!"

The Project Power actor shared a fun audio clip of him and Tom Brady, the king of "un-retiring," trying to ease Cameron's nerves.

She will appear alongside Jamie in Netflix's new action-comedy film, Back in Action.

A source told Page Six that the actress has decided that this film would be officially her last after production is wrapped up.

This comes after the source confirmed that her return to acting has "been a lot" for her husband.

The source said: "...honestly, Jamie is the only reason that she is doing this film and they are still very close."

"She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone."
