Did you know that Snoop Dogg turns 50 years old this month? Crazy, right? I thought he was older than that, actually. He just seems to have always been around, always famous and always hustling. Snoop was probably promoting one of his many projects and he chatted with the Daily Mirror, a British outlet. Of course they asked him about Prince Harry and Meghan and of course Snoop had something to say. He was surprisingly diplomatic and warm about it, actually.
Snoop Dogg has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle round for Thanksgiving….and promised to Drop It Like It’s Hot on the kitchen table. Hazza, 37, is a fan of the American hip hop star and the feeling is mutual.
Snoop, 49, who lives close to the royal in LA, tells me: “I said Prince Harry had big balls when he didn’t invite Trump to his wedding. And now, for real, I say he’s got an even bigger set of balls. Him and Meghan are living their lives like they want and that can’t be an easy thing with the whole world judging them. They got to live life their way – they get a lot of respect from me for that. If they want to come over for Thanksgiving dinner they are in for something special. They can come over to Snoop’s crib.”
Snoop was taught to cook by top chef and pal Gordon Ramsay , 54.
He says: “People didn’t think I could cook. They saw my cooking show and now they know that I can. I met up with my boy Gordon and he has taught me a few things.”
Talking about his friendship with Harry and his brother Prince William , he adds: “Harry and William are my boys. As soon as I knew they were fans I reached out to them and we‘ve been cool ever since.
“Him and Meghan are living their lives like they want and that can’t be an easy thing with the whole world judging them…” Nice, right? British saltines underestimate how much Harry and Meghan’s Sussexit narrative appeals to Americans. We respect the fact that they both walked away and are now living their lives on their terms. I hope H&M befriend Snoop and Martha Stewart. They can go into business together selling CBD products.
