Salt Bae has ‘stunned’ his fans in a new video posted to his Instagram which is the first opportunity for many to hear him speak.

The famous chef, Nusret Gökçe, posted a video to his Instagram page where he declared his love for London in a ‘peculiar’ fashion.

The cooking personality has 40m followers on Instagram and he began the video by rolling up his sleeves and saying: “Hold on, hold on. I wanna say something about London.”

“London is my big dream. Some day, next day, every day. All the time. I love London. London is different.”

Despite his clear love for England’s capital he is reportedly leaving London after just six weeks to open a new restaurant in Saudi Arabia.

Salt Bae is set to open his new restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where his 28th branch will be based.

Later in Salt Bae’s video the cameraman asked him how his English was coming along, he said: “My English is almost like a British.”

Fans were quick to point out that this sentence didn't structure very well. The multi-millionaire clearly needs a bit more time to master the language.

He then mimics the language he claims to love by saying “You know” and “cheers” and then ends his video telling his followers: “Hope to see you soon London.”

Salt Bae posted the video to his Instagram, yesterday, (November 12) and it has since racked up 4.6m likes and over 4k comments.

Among those commenting, some criticised his decision to leave the capital early and were sad to see him go.
