Jake Paul's next fight to take place on Amanda Serrano's undercard

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Jake Paul will co-headline with Amanda Serrano in Puerto Rico on March 2 as she defends her featherweight titles against Nina Meinke.

Paul knocked Andre August out in the first round on December 15 - his first victory by KO since beating Tyron Woodley almost two years ago to the date.

But the YouTube sensation has moved away from chasing big-name fights including KSI or a rematch against Tommy Fury.

Instead, Paul is looking to build his boxing career from the ground up and improve his record as he looks to take the sport more seriously.

And that has taken form by the fact that he is prepared to feature on Serrano's undercard in March, though his opponent has yet to be revealed.

Serrano will face German boxer Meinke in her home country in Puerto Rico over 12 three-minute rounds.

"Yes, I’m on a mission… But this one is much bigger than me. This one is for the greatest Puerto Rican boxer ever, Amanda Serrano. This one is for the people of Puerto Rico, from the Choliseo to the world.

"This one is for all of boxing to see how powerful women are in this sport and for Wanna Walton to usher in his superstar boxing future in front of 20,000 people.

"I can’t wait to fight in San Juan and show the world this beautiful island."

Paul revealed that he was prepared to step back from mega-money events in boxing after his crushing victory over August last week.

He said: "[I want] more boxing prospects, more experience, more time in the ring under the bright lights and staying active.

"I'm focused on being the best in the world, and creating one of the best sports stories in the history of sports.

"From being on the Disney Channel and not knowing how to throw a jab three years ago, to world champion.

"It's incredible to inspire these young people or anyone out there to chase their dreams, and no matter where you start or when - you can pursue it and rise to the top."

Jake Paul insists he doesn't care about promoting next fight and claims he is 'already a world champion' boxer
