I am the mother of four small children (8, 5, and 2-year-old twins) and I have never given any of them a bath. I have a raging fear of all things bathtub related. I hate them. We have three bathrooms and only one with a tub because I hate tubs so much. The idea of being inside something with wall grout shoved into the corner of a small room that may or may not be filled with dirty bodily grossness and feet and germs – I could die. I get so grossed out I’m actually gagging right now. For 8 years, my husband has done all bath times. I wear flip flops in my own walk-in shower because it has tile floors and there is grout. I’m so grossed out. Everyone has something weird going on in their lives. My phobias are weird. I’m sure yours might also be weird. Even celebrities have weird phobias. Trust me – we aren’t as weird as we like to think.

It turns out that this is not an uncommon occurrence for many people, either. She suffers from Trypophobia in very good company and has no issue whatsoever keeping her fears from bothering her as often as she can.
